A home with Pets

Concerned with a flurry of burglaries in her local area, Kathie contacted Advanced Alarms about upgrading her home security.

Kathie had delayed improving her security as she has pets (a fluffy cat and a excitable dog!) and had though that this meant she couldn’t have an intruder alarm.

We quickly corrected that myth and went through all the options available. As the property was a bungalow, we recommended that a mainly hard wired installation was the most appropriate. We specified pet friendly detectors throughout with magnetic contacts and shock sensors to specific doors and windows.

A remote outbuilding was protected with a wireless detector and contact too. Thus giving a full and robust system of the main bungalow and the outbuildings.

Kathie opted to include a smartphone app to provide remote control and to receive notifications from her system while she is away.
