OK, I have a Fire Alarm, so why do I need a Fire alarm service contract?

Servicing of fire safety equipment is a mandatory requirement and a requirement of BS5839 that this is carried out by a competent person and the checks carried out must make sure that:

  • all fire alarm systems are working
  • you record any faults in systems and equipment

Do I need a Fire Alarm System?

This depends upon a number of factors including the type of premises you have, and how the premises are used. A Fire Risk Assessment is often the way to determine if a fire alarm is required or not. If you’re not sure, get in touch and we can put you in touch with an independent fire risk assessor who can help you carry one out.
